Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 Loaves of white bread
  • 1 - 1 1/2 lbs seasoned pork sausage
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1/2 - 3/4 stick of butter
  • Some water
  • Sage
  • Thyme
  • Poultry Seasoning 
Directions

Tear up bread in a large bowl the day before and season with sage, thyme, & poultry seasoning. 

  1. Brown sausage in a frying pan, add chopped onion at the end, cook until just soft and drain grease, add butter, let melt but not brown
  2. Add sausage mixture and warm water alternately to bread mixture, bread should be just damp enough not to dry out
  3. Put loosely in two bread pans
  4. Bake 1 hour or until heated through
